Have I missed the point of this thread ? Why not buy a tidy drz 400 s for around the same price or a honda crf250 l for not much more both a proven bike and will still be worth something when you come to sell them.

Yep , looks like you have :)

I didn't buy a DRZ because I didn't want one , seemed fair enough reason to me at the time . I could have bought a CRF250L and only lost 25% of its new price by now instead of the 50% loss I'd probably see on my Adrenaline but that would have meant £1000 loss instead of the £850 on my Adrenaline . I don't buy bikes on their prospective secondhand selling price anyway - I'd be better off if I did but I don't

I liked having a bike no one else had meddled with - well except the 14 year old casually assembling it , I sold the previous Chinese 125 for 90% of what I paid for it new so was not much of an "investment" of extra cash . Basically I'm happy enough with it and will not try and force my sometimes odd I accept , ideas on anyone else . I genuinely enjoy having something a bit different and as my budget is limited that restricts how "interestingly" different that can be , but it's stretched from RE Bullets (Indian) , Chinese 125s , Cagiva Elefants to Ducatis .

Individuality is what I would call it, I'm not interested in DRZ400 to old for me, now if you can find me a CRF250L for £1800 May be interested,. However I can have a brand new pulse 250 for same price run it for 2years and still sell it for €1k (thumbs)
Also I like trying different to the norm bikes as I find it amazing that you can get a new bike for little money and still have great fun (thumbs) (thumbs)

I think the £1800 crf250l will soon be available.
Most are around the £2500 mark but have seen a few
For £2000 ish, so it won't be long before one can
Be had for £1800. Try one, they are a great bike.

At the same shop? Be interesting to see if we both have the same opinion
