A few pics from a short ride around the West coast yesterday. From Beauly out to Ullapool then turned off the A835 and went through Inverpolly to Lochinver , then on the B869 to Kylesku before heading south and home to Beauly, about 180 miles.
Surprisingly not many bikes out at all. I might be getting old and a bit tight but we stopped for cake and 2 posh coffees ( Latte's) in Lochinver, £16.10. OUCH !!

Re: A Short Bimble In The Highlands
If your route up is through the Grampians first then the Grampians Motorcycle Convention is on at Alford on Sunday 4th. It's held at the museum and probably the biggest bike meet in Scotland.
Show has trade stands, vintage and classic bike parades as well as moped mayhem. If the weather is good usually a great turnout. Just watch out for the Police as a very high presence in the area on that day.
Hope you have a great time if you make it. Will that be on your new bike ?

Lovely photo's and a great location. Love your Varadero, they're a great machine. I was out today myself on a 125 mile run to the Green Welly (Tyndrum) with a neighbour of mine on his Varadero.
