Honda XR650 with lots of special bits.

Post by WIBO »

I spied this Italian registered XR in Morocco a while back. The rider had it dialled in for what suited him for overland travel.

A few things are not to my approval but I'm sure the owner wouldn't really care...

I do like the twin end cans though....didn't get a chance to hear it...

Thought the Inmates would like to see it... :)

I miss my old XR650 :(

No idea...but works for him or her. The gear lever is especially interesting...may be a physical problem to overcome?

Check the rims too...

There must be a good reason for that modification....there is a very short reach from the foot peg to lever head....as I say..maybe a physical disability to overcome???

You can see where the rubber band is that it's a slider

ive got it :woohoo: ,, you unbolt the gear lever ( the black painted bit) turn it 180 degrees and bolt it to the elongated slidy bit where the rubber band is, lots of adjustability,, not sure about the rubber band, or the one on the sidestand ,,

You're a better man than me........I'm still trying to cope with a pizza, four pints of Guinness coupled with a bottle of Bordeaux red...

It's Friday isn't it?
