Maybe it could be extended to thieves and other criminal elements. Just think of the savings to the welfare and prison systems.

It sounds more like a witch hunt and a way to clear the decks of ones opponents than justice. Those who have so far surrendered will either clog the justice system for years or more probably be dealt with in brutal "swift justice" court cases with little or no real evidence.

We need to re-introduce severe penalties for drug related crime. Drugs have destroyed our communities in towns & villages. It will never happen as there are too many lefties in the UK.

Are you trying to suggest that drug abuse follows political bias or that the hang 'em high Tory party have the solution but just choose not to use it?

yeha because the war on drugs has been oh so successful. there is only one way to deafeat it and that's to legalise. simple as that. each week in the UK thousands of people end up in A&E due to alcohol related issues. The cost to the NHS is billions. legalise everything, it'd soon get rid of the criminal element once companies took it over.Allan F wrote:We need to re-introduce severe penalties for drug related crime. So how is legalising the use of, what are are currently Controlled Drugs, going to solve the problem of drug abuse in this country?Mike54 wrote:yeha because the war on drugs has been oh so successful. there is only one way to deafeat it and that's to legalise. simple as that. each week in the UK thousands of people end up in A&E due to alcohol related issues.
