KTM 990 inlet valve

This is an intake valve on my 990 adv which went on tick over .The top section has snapped off
Never seen that before has anyone had this happen?

Ooops, seen it plenty of times but not on a modern engine.

Is it really that bent? Is the piston crown damaged? Did the timing jump? Was something taken into that cylinder?
