A few things I've learnt today.
Cruise control is worth it's weight in gold, not that I know how much cruise control weighs
The E411 had no petrol stations on it :hu
Sat navs are also worth their weight in gold. (thumbs)
And don't always assume your travel buddy has checked the condition of his tyres before he set off
hmy:
It's a trip to the tyre shop tomorrow.

Re: It's that time of year again
Day 3 Trier to Sinsheim near Heidelberg. After a stop off at the local Motorrad dealer to get a new Anakee 2 for my mates Tiger ( €198
) we set off in the rain.
Even though I though I'd planned a route sans motorway it became apparent that most of the day would be on an Autobahn so motorways ticked in avoidance and off we went on the proper roads.
It fined up later and we've ended the day at 25 degrees C.
A quick stop over at Hockenheim, but there was a track day for rich kids on so no chance of a lap.

Friedberg to Salzburg today, stopped off at Dachau, a very sobering place.
I had planned to visit the Allianz Areana but the Nav V decided to completely miss out this part of the route, lord knows why, even though I had waypoints next to the Arena
Grossglockner tomorrow.
