If believing in any God keeps someone happy then I'm in no position to criticise them for that but I move very quickly when God botherers knock on my front door then try to convert me.

My proudest moment was when, at university, the Jehova's Witnesses came around and I let them into the common area where my housemates were sat around... before I pissed off to my room... I think it took them half an hour or so to get them out again.

I totally agree I can't bring myself to believe in stories handed down through the ages without physical proof but if it makes anyone else happy then good for them, I prefer to celebrate the seasons with like minded souls and several casks of cider.

This is how I feel about it but one point I've got to make is that without that religious festival known as Easter we wouldn't have Creme Eggs and the World would be a far worse place
