Blast up Th'M6 to Jct 40, then down through to Ullswater (I think) and on to Wrynose Pass via Kirkstone Pass. Then avoided Hard Knott pass and instead went straight on, which if you've been wil make sense. This turned out to be a wise choice, lots of stunning views through this way!
Finally A595 back to Lancaster and home!
