ahahahahahahahahahahaha! Good luck.

It's not new anymore, it's pre-registered. It may be under warranty but it's still a private sale with no legal comeback. There are no finance facilities on offer. Its a fair bet he has outstanding finance on it.

Anyone that wants it play hardball and get at least a grand off it. It's not like the ball is in his court.
VERY good points there Ralph. Methinks this will cost Mr Burnett more than he actually envisaged! Dunno if CCM would stand by the bike as if the new buyer was the first owner?

I would go to him (if I was buying) and look to get the VAT element knocked off at the very least. So nearer £1500... But, I'm not buying ;)

He said he would sell the bike to keep the pease. But over priced so it doesn't sell

In a similar way years ago I knew a couple having a difficult divorce, he left the house leaving his pride of joy classic car in the garage, with instruction to the ex wife to sell it in the evening paper and when sold send the money on to him. She sold it the first night the paper was printed, and got the full asking price!-------------- she had advertised it for a fiver!!

Is it road legal without a chain guard?

Over £8000 for a little dirt bike? am I missing something? (I freely admit to knowing nothing about these bikes..)

Yes you are missing something......The bloke's in a one sided relationship and I don't think his wife's that keen on him and she's looking for an excuse to bale out.

Yep, he probably has finance repayments on it which he can't afford.
also need to see proof that this is settled prior to a deal, in case he defaults or doesn't pay it off, and they want their bike back
