After the success of the first North Yorks weekend in November 2015 i'm going to have another go.
This time in summer, partly to gain some daylight hours and partly to try and avoid hypothermia/becoming trapped in Glaisdale due to seriously unfriendly iking weather!
The venue remains the same, Bankhouse Farm Bunkhouse in Glaisdale near Whitby. Bankhousefarmhostel.co.uk
Plenty of details available on their website but booking through me please.
It will be the weekend 12/13 august, arrive friday, ride saturday, night out somewhere, recover sunday.
It is £40 for the two nights regardless of the chosen digs, options are,
1. Large bunkhouse sleeps 11/12, self contained with drying room, showers, fully sorted kitchen with big table and sofas.
2. X2 rooms in the farmhouse itself sleeping x2 and x3 respectively
3. Seperate building 10m away from the bunkhouse, basic with raised beds on one level, sleeps x6 i think.
All 3 options will use the same kitchen/shower setup.
First come first served, il get a list going.
Thanks lads.

North Yorks Bunkhouse
Forgot to say, it's an offroad weekend, most likely split into groups dependant on volunteers to lead. No road route planned but someone is welcome to sort one out.

From experience, I'd say it is a better option to sleep on the sofa on your own than with 12 sweaty farty blokes (thumbs)
August is too far away for me to commit to, but if I'm free and there's space I'd be up for it... So, before its full, can I blag a spot on a reserve list?

From experience dave, i'd say that there are an inordinate number of "people" who choose to sleep in the vicinity of 12 sweaty farty blokes!Dave DRZ wrote:From experience, I'd say it is a better option to sleep on the sofa on your own than with 12 sweaty farty blokes (thumbs)
