Not ideal having your name and address on Ebay but I have sold bikes from my business address and had no theft issues even though my address was at the bottom of the listing. Ewan was the 1st keeper and the name on the logbook in the picture would be the 2nd keeper. The listing states it has 3 former keepers so the seller won't be the same as in photoboboneleg wrote:So the guy selling it is called Scott and yet the name of the registered keeper on the V5 is different. I'm sure the chap whoose name and address are clearly visible on ebay will be well happy when scrotes start knocking on his door or worse still trying to get into his garage

Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

It'll be a photocopy so any future owner can still prove who owned it first.Rangoonruns wrote:Please let me know if the KTM's they only used for a day come up on ebay.

So was this one of the bikes that went on the trip or just sprayed up and auctioned off afterwards, because wasn't that a nearly 20k trip?

its a beemer probably went part way on a lorry, hence low mileage
In all seriousness (not that i could afford to do it) i do wonder if something like this would be a good investment ???

An unrelated story, but one of caution when selling over internet. Someone local to me tried to sell their range rover via gumtree and had the map on the advert, was stolen that week and used in a robbery a few days later.
Re: long way down 1200gs on ebay (ewans bike)
very true, wasn't their one on ebay recently with 160,00 odd miles
AndyB wrote:It's overpriced but 20,000 miles in just over 8 years can't be considered high mileage!
