Mud Wrestling on Glastonbury Tor

Post by Alun »

I'm sure there's a motorcycle conection with the following press release I've just received but until I can establish what that is I thought it best to pop it in the 'Off Topic' section.

If you spot the bike link post it up below.
Names of Goddess Mud Wrestlers:
- Trixie Bell.(dreadlocks)
- Kim Z Cooper (small blond)
- Amorel Hamilton (tall)
- Lilly Watson (Blue swimsuit)

’TRIXIE BELLE’ WINS TODAY’S GODDESS MUD WRESTLING TOURNAMENT AT GLASTONBURY TOR --- SPONSORED BY THE REAL RALPH BENDING ESTATE AGENT

’Trixie Belle’, a 25 year old jewellery designer from Birmingham, is the winner of the inaugural Goddess mud wrestling tournament, which was held at 2pm on Glastonbury Tor today.

The inaugural ’Goddess Mud Wrestling Tournament’ was sponsored by Jules Bending of The Real Ralph Bending Estate Agent and coincides with the Annual Goddess Conference, which is on in the town from Wednesday 29th July - Sunday 2nd August 2009.

Goddess in bikinis and head dresses writhed around in the mud with each heat voted on by the public and the winner being chosen on ’stamina’, ’fervour’ and ’effort’.

Trixie Belle won a clay trophy replica of the Glastonbury Tor sponsored by Ralph Bending and flowers by Enchanted Florals.

Trixie Belle has just moved to Glastonbury and decided to enter the competition. “I loved getting down in the mud. What a welcome to Glastonbury,“ she said.

Jules Bending of The Real Ralph Bending Estate Agent says “It’s important to evoke the earth aspect.

"Trixie Belle won a clay trophy replica of the Glastonbury Tor sponsored by Ralph Bending and flowers by Enchanted Florals"

Wtf? it looks more like a brick!

Would a bar of soap not be more appropriate?

Agreed about the 'brick' but not so sure about the soap, I quite fancy our Trixie Bell all mudded up it inspires my celtic tribal instincts that I've been supressing for years.

How did they get so muddy anyway, look at the wee pool, it's hardly dirty inside!

I think they might have to tweak it slightly to make it to the Olympics but it's got potential :cheer:

Personaly I think they've got it just right, the size of the pool means that there's no getting away from the hand to hand combat.

And another thing, it's success as an Olympic sport is assured; for example 'Mud wrestling on Glastonbury Tor' is set to be our most comented thread on a site about 'adventure motorcycling'. That says it all. I'll mail Seb a link to this thread.
