camp sites in and around the alps please

+1 for Bourg St Maurice.A supermarket across the road and a short walk into town.A good base for doing Col de L'Iseran,Grand St Bernard Pass etc. (thumbs)

There's a great campsite in andermatt under the ski lift, 100mtrs from the village, it's called Gothard camping.

Andy , I'm off there in June for three nights whilst I do the local passes. Any tips/suggestions?

it is close to some gr8 passes,,,,it can get chilly even in July at night.
Walk into the village at night to the cafe bars for food.
Look out for the post waggon that's pulled by 8 horses.
The local petrol stations are unmanned so can only use a debit/credit card.

There's a few campsites in interlarken slap bag in the Alps with some great passes around the area
