when i went to Salzburg some of the others did not want to ride all that way :whistle:
so got the train, while we took our time from Hook, on wards, spent a week in Austria, then gentile ride back to Hook 15 min home once in uk (thumbs)

Lots of dirt roads around the area. Can go off road to Crna koreskem and then Maribor

Ali's in Austria is a couple of days from the south coast then you are down into Slovenia, Croatia (D8 coast road a must). We took a nice three days back from the Dalmatian coast so you could with planning get a week exploring Croatia and it is worth it. I have a couple of campsites and gravel trails we used but its all good there.

been a couple of times to croatia,2 weeks is plenty of time.just point the bike in a south easterly direction and stay off the motorways.some stunning roads and passes on the way.i can recommend this place to stay when you get there. j

Plitvice lakes and Pula coliseum in Croatia. And the food, awesome food. We ordered a plate of 'prawns' and got served about 20 grilled langoustines.
