Hi gb,I'm curious to know which insurance firm you are with for the 701 enduro as the ones I have tried so far do not have the enduro version on thier database and therefore I am unable to get cover for my new steed which I am due to receive this weekend!!

I used carol nash, bennetts didn't have it.

I'm already with Carole Nash!!!they couldn't find bike yesterday and said they would check with insurers,but haven't called me back yet!!!will have to kick their arse tomorrow!!

To start with they did it as a tr650 so I rang them back and told them it was wrong so the had to correct it manually. I got a certificate through and they assured me it was insured. I think it really is a case of who get on the other end of the phone.

I had similar problem when I tried to insure mine. Non of the gocompare or similar worked - no 701 in database. I called few insurers (CarolNash, Swinton, ect.) no luck...They didnt recognise 701, Tried to explain to them that 701 is virtually the same bike as ktm 690, forget it...
Finally talked to Bikesure. They were quite helpfull and insured my 701 Enduro

Give them a call.
