I did say ebay, it was cheap even with the faults, I wouldn't be surprised if the winner bidder is from Europe as I have sold 2 varadero's on ebay and both went over the pond with no issuesdelmastiff wrote:Cheers for putting the link up. Mine also went overseas. Two guys from eastern europe in a van picked it up and squeezed it in the back. The van was chocked full of furniture and stuff and they were also towing a car trailer. Obviously a little import business.... I sold an early 6 speed FI vara to E Europe the guy collected it in a van with covered car trailer with a load of bikes and scooters aboard, about 2 years ago. Surprised there is a strong demand still with a strong £ against the Euro.

Don,t know you but i am well chuffed that the bike did not sell for £700 amd you are getting a good price compared to what you offered.
