I made a mistake with the links. I put the wrong link on at first but corrected it.bimota wrote:hi knobbly,

Yep the helmets are exactly the same just a different badge with quite a large price difference.
Re: Anybody using one of these O'NEAL HELMETS
Seen a few reviews for them and seem pretty good for the money.
The things people seem to complain about is that they can be a little heavy and that the chin part is a bit low and you cant look down properly. Also they feel a bit plastic and creaky but other than that really comfy and good value.

Re: Anybody using one of these O'NEAL HELMETS
I've been using the earlier version a lot on and off road, and its stood up well--several trim washes etc (even cheaper--and still available--but doesn't have the extra drop down sun visor.)
Comfortable and reasonably quiet--but as you all know different brands suit different head shapes--so try one first--the THH brand is the parent company--from Taiwan I think--but they have European support centres which work(I got extra pivots and stuff)--and the company is big.

I agree on fitting the helmet first aside from considering the style and brand.
