I crossed from Algeceras to Tanger Med. Straight out of the port and on a main road to get some miles under your belt.

If you plan on visiting the high Atlas or Midi Atlas then don't go in February. A lot of the trails will not be passable due to snow.

I,ve done quite a bit of Morocco backpacking and have done the Atlas mountains, the goal of this trip is to ride my moto to Essaouira to watch the sun set over the sea from the battlements of Essaouira. Simples B)

I'll be there for the next three weeks from Tuesday. If anyone from here is going to be in Merzouga and fancies meeting up drop me a message. Also I can sort enduro bikes for dune riding plus guiding and instruction if you want.

That's what I like about this site, other motorcyclists helping each other. Thank god theirs only a couple of arm chair, know all,s . Who I don't take seriously . Please keep the suggestions coming , Al (thumbs)
