Hi, I'd be interested in joining, is your trip mainly off road?
I personally prefer off road to on.
Cheers

Camped both at Chefchouen and at Moulay Idris, the pool was very welcome after a day's walking about in Fez; near to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis and handy for Meknes (for the train into Fez).

Al, camping in the desert is an experience you'll never forget, however, just to let you know, auberges are very cheap and usually include dinner and breakfast. you are unlikely to want to camp too often to be honest, especially in the south, you cant get rid of the dust etc

My suggestion would be to ge down to Merzouga and the Erg Chebi dunes.

The route you've outlined is primarily main 'N' (national) roads. Whereever possible travel by 'R' (regional) or 'P' (provincial) roads. They are quieter, typically more scenic, and you'll see more of the real Morocco. Try to incorporate some easy pistes (groomed tracks).

Drop the idea of camping unless you are planning to wild camp in the middle of nowhere.
