Dune bashing in Dubai

Post by Jim Lovell »

Don't shoot me because i know the UK weathers been shite lately, but here in Dubai i'm waiting for winter to cool the desert slightly.
I've been looking at a few companies that hire dirt bikes also i have some info from a colleague who is a keen racer.

Anyone else ridden over here, any info or recommendations on good hire/tour companies greatly received.

cheers J

I've got a friend who's working out there who bought a Tonka truck to play in the desert and an Enfield for road riding. I'll ask him if he knows of any bike hire places.
Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time!!

All right you old bugger? There is or was a big KTM dealership that had a hire centre linked to it if memory serves. Edit , this one https://ktmuae.wordpress.com/about/

Try Sandstorm Motorcycles. I've googled it but it only came up with a Facebook page. They defo exist and I believe hire out bikes and organise rides
Have fun!

Just make shure your insurance is upto date.
I did this a few years ago but we went out on quads. Started chasing wild cammels and got chucked off. Result broken coller bone and a bill for the equivalant of £350 from the American Hospital in Dubai. (wife still laughs at me when she tells anyone abut it)
