More than adequate for me, it's only a bit slower than my ATs, the only difference is at 65-70 mph on the DRZ I'm using about 65% of it's rev range whereas on the ATs I'm at 50-55%

I don't need to travel any faster

Thanks Paul, interesting and useful and confirms what we all know - for most people, in most situations, it's the best value for money adventure bike you can buy and develop. Look forward to hearing and maybe seeing more (thumbs)

Cheap tax , cheap insurance and I expect cheap running costs too

I've had it up to 87 (on satnav) but with the MT21s on it moves around a lot (quite scarily)

The screen / cockpit set up shields me from all wind blast with the screen in it's current position. No need to go any higher

Next thing for me to try out will be the supermoto wheels I got with it once I get some new tyres on them

I'm stock with 15/44.................but when i change the C&S I'm tempted to try a 15/41 set up (DRZ-SM uses 15/39)

If I use a 41 for the road stuff, then I could take a 14t for any trail stuff

On the Dyno it topped out at 91mph not that I'll be needing to do this

At 60 (real 60 not on the clock) it's doing approx 5500 rpm so I figure it'll be comfortable all day and not burn too much oil at 6000 rpm
