Suggestions for things to do in Nottingham on Sunday,

Hold up a bank on Saturday, and distribute your new wealth to the poor on Sunday!

BTW If Robin Hood was Hobin Rood, who would Fryer Tuck be?

These are the essential destinations of any trip to Nottingham :)
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Early lunch, a 50% refund and the opportunity to have a laugh at the expense of the Aussies. Happy days then!

It all depends what you are looking for.Dont bother visiting Nottingham Castle, its an art gallery. As mentioned before, the Trip is worth a look. The Sal is another old pub,it will be full of Metalheads if thats your thing. The Bell is another interesting pub but it gets very busy,as do most of the pubs around the Market Square.I like the Dragon,it tends to be a bit quieter, but then I am getting old. There are plenty of less manic pubs if you move away from the Market Square. If you are staying near Trent Bridge the centre of West Bridgford is good for a sensible rather than lively night out, there is the Stratford Haven if you like real ale.

We're stopping at the Mercure hotel on George St which is pretty much in the centre of where everything happens and I'll be prioritising real ale rather than trendy bars rammed with loads of look but don't touch

Tomorrow is sorted, we're visiting my parents in Chesterfield because we don't go often enough and my dad's not been in the best of health recently so they'll probably make us welcome for a couple of hours.
