hi coddy stayed at "normandy beaches" b&b, that was fine and adrian can tell you all the best places to go, and talk the legs off a donkey,
but be prepared for the prices and general demeanour of serving and shop staff across normandy. they are happy to take your money but dont seem to be too bothered about doing much for it. cheapest place we found a beer was the "marie celeste" run by a brummie guy called "grumpy pete" and he fits right in. steer well clear of touristy places, eg we paid 8 euros for a beer outside the arromanche museum.

peejay got your sticker mate, see you tomorrow. bad call on the calvados though, dont know if its the same people or theyve been replaced by a mate of the mayor and the cheeky bastard wants 26euros for a bottle of commercial plonk which is 9 in the supermarches and less than that here in tescos.
