Thanks for the kind replies peeps. There was no side stand to begin with Snaphappy, its the most budgetest of budget bikes! It does have the hole for one though and I think its best if I get one, trying to find a suitable flat surface for the centre-stand can be a pain. Only comes with one mirror as standard as well, even though its got the holes for two, apparently Yamaha thinks traffic only ever approaches from one side. But to be fair, its only an issue on motorways really.
Thanks, enjoyed that especially as I ride a few of those lanes in winter mostly. White Lane and The Harrow Way (the long bit good at night) are always good. Salisbury Plain would be a good plan on your bike this time of year and you were on its doorstep at Thruxton Circuit. I feel a plan emerging B)

I have it on paper. I copied and pasted lots of segments of maps from the Trailwaise map together in an image editing thing, printed it off (15 in total as it needs to be big enough to be easily readable as I'm riding) and marked my route on it in pen. Then crammed it all in the map case you can see on the tank in the pictures. Not very high tech I'm afraid but it means I can scribble notes on it when I need to.
Great post, Sprockette. You continue to produce stuff that makes me want to leap out onto the bike, and to want something sprightlier (That can't be how you spell that) and knobblier.
Have a (well deserved) greenie.
