noticedthey do not have sd cards?
but if like me you plot rotue's using tyre to travel (now free with it) they have some tt rider for sale reduced as well.

with tyre you can only plot up to 50 waypoints with Rider V2 but 100 with the later verson unles you split it & have it as more than 1 inirrery.

tyre also has all of his how to on youtube
£250? Where did this email originate. Seems like a bargain.
Boo :-p

FC Moto in Aachen are doing the new Tomtom Rider 40 for about £250, this version doesn't have full European mapping. The one they advertise is central Europe but there is a western Europe version which is OK if you don't want to venture further east than Belgium.

Screen is much better than older version - sharper and clearer

Tomtom advertise this as being able to go from portrait to landscape mode in 'just a twist'. This is not the case. The four allen bolts on the rear of the mount have to be loosened before the orientation can be changed, so it can't be done whilst on the move so to speak.

The menu takes a little getting used to but it does become simpler in time.

I'll add more info as the weeks go on....
hi Deano have you put the washers on the allen bolts ? as this will make a difference !!!!

They have one on display in Custom lids Newcastle now , i like it a lot , except the interface it is totaly different to my old car tomtom ( which is dead simple ) i guess it takes some getting used to as most things .
