Victor deluxe 1960.
Came in for an Mot today,showed my mum this car and she told me that we had one in black when I was a lickle boy. (thumbs)

That takes me back , my late had one,collum gear change ,and a bench seat in the front, also one of my dads clients ,Mr Wyper had a convertible. I was just a wee boy about 6. Thanks for posting. Al.

Love it. That is one nice looking motor. Very pretty. (thumbs)
I keep getting tempted to do up a CF camper van. Seen one or two at shows and the look
really nice. Retro but nice, and with a decent motor too.

My dear old Dad had one (thumbs) new Vauxhall every 18 months (thumbs) the salesman loved him :laugh:

That's a rare sight:those old Vauxhalls used to rot away before your very eyes :dry:
Someone must have looked after it - I saw a Ford Zephyr/Zodiac of about the same era yesterday,so there must be a few old-timers remaining. (thumbs)

Took the Panzer out for a few miles today.

On the road I met someone driving a silver Vauxhall Firenza the one with the 'Droop Snoot' or whatever it's called (thumbs)

They had the wind resistance of a brick, terrible suspension, awful brakes, handled erratically but am I the only one that misses 'the good old days'?

Even a poor mans car had some style, apart from an Allegro :laugh:
