Pauls at Kirkby Stephen I would certainly recommend!
For Oban, I use Oban divers, biker friendly, out of the town a bit so peaceful and quiet. A nice BBQ area to cook in if the weather's not so nice.

Fantastic roads and scenery, hospitable hosts, on site shop for Bacon, eggs, camping gas etc, short walk to pubs, shops, chippies, Chinese, Indian etc.
