2. Yes I am "Playing out". SWMBO has given permission to do the Aragon AND the Pyrenees HISS this year.
3. Part of the ears and eyes open/mouth shut is to avoid the ritual abuse I enjoyed last September. The very fact that I am posting for the SECOND time is likely to invite more of the same!
4. Nevertheless its good to hear from you, which suggests you're still hale and hearty.
5. Looking forward to meeting up again with you and Steve(x2)in May, and hoping that the quality of the verbal diarrhoea has been maintained.

Hi Spud,

Any chance of catching up with me and Will at Ochagavia or Isaba*?

I'm meeting Will in the Val d'Aran on Saturday morning, then running up the Pyrenees from there. I'll also ask Miguel angel if he's up for a weekend, if so he would spilt off back to Madrid when we cross the A2 around Calatayud, but we'd have a good reunion of 'Els Prats' over a beer and a guindilla or two at Ochagavia!

Hmm, I'll have to take a look at those TKC's - that Heidenau that you smelled burning last year hardly lasted 4,000 kms

Brilliant.

The camping at Ochagavia has a hostel with bedrooms for six or eight persons, each with its own bathroom. These can be either reserved entire by groups or solos can just turn up and take pot luck with whom you share, if anyone.

• 4 pax: 64,20 euros IVA incluído.
• 6 pax: 75 euros IVA incluído.
• 8 pax: 96,50 euros IVA incluído.
• Habitación compartida: 11,20 euros IVA incluído. - that's the price for one person sharing.

I've worked out the price for the camping at €13.40 but this includes €3.90 for the bike, which may apply to the hostel too. So the prices work out quite good even set against camping and if we want to get an early start - it can be very damp and chilly there and in Navarre rain is an 'issue' - all those dense green forest don't well, er, grow on trees

It's a long ride to Terriente, especially of we want to ride through the Bardena Blanca, which would take about an hour, and there is a lovely road over the Sierra de Moncayo that I don't know - I'll ask Miguel A as he's actually from the village at the foot of the range (thumbs).

I'm really looking forward to this . . . and I think I've decoded to go back to a Mitas EO7 this time.
