I'm looking at getting some new car tyres.
The tyres I'm after are cheaper from an on-line outfit called Oponeo than anywhere else.
Oponeo appears to be 'somewhere in the EU' that isn't the UK.
Has anyone here used them and did they deliver as promised?
All feedback ...good or bad... from actual customers welcome.
Cheers
Richard

Re: Buying tyres from Oponeo
yes did it once for a set of 4 tyres fitted
just chose a local garage/time
paid online
turned up there 4days later
left car
new tyres fitted
collected keys and drove off
i buy bike tyres from them and mytyres.co.uk
just depends who's cheapest and they usually come within 5 days to the door
i think theyre web companies based in UK, but tapping into EU stock held and distributed from Germany/Poland
order by credit card and you're covered by distance selling regs

Re: Buying tyres from Oponeo
Not used them before but I have used this mail order company for my tyres for the last few years. Site its that great but good prices on some tyres. Sometimes the "tyre deals " tab has good pair bargains.
I use the "full bore usa " tyres for my xt660z, cheap and work fine.
Quick delivery.

Sounds good so far...the tyres I'm after are actually made in Poland by a Michelin subsidiary...Kleber.

Excelent service, must have bought about 10 m/c tyres from them without hitch.
For car tyres, as I want them fitted etc I use
www.tyre-shopper.co
they also offer a great service

Re: Buying tyres from Oponeo
I've been using Oponeo for a few years now bought about 8 or 9 tyres from them and found their prices and service very good.
Order on a Monday and the goods are normally there by Friday at the latest, living in the North West Highlands that is pretty good oh and delivery is free.
Will be looking for a new rear soon so will be giving Oponeo a shout again (thumbs)
Cheers Ian.

Re: Buying tyres from Oponeo
Have used them for last 8 or 9 bikes tyres, no problems, good prices but best bit it the massive selection which allows you to save a fair but by going for last years pattern/version. Have done this with Pirelli Diablos in the past for my Gixers and saved a shed load with no discernible (at least not to me  ) trade off in grip or performance
