Recomendations for a tablet like an Ipad

Post by Hoggyf »

anyone recommend anything other than an Ipad, the wife would like one but doesn't need the extra expense of an Ipad for what she uses it for. I've got an Ipad and whilst its good its a pain if you haven''t got everything Apple, I also had for work an early Microsoft Surface tablet which is pretty crap to be honest other than the fact it has a USB connection and runs word and excel which was why it was bought.

So what do you guys use or recommend??
Then:
Honda MB5, Honda MBX125, 350LC, RGV250, MTX125, GasGas JTX250, CM 644 DS, BMW R1100S, Beta Rev3 250, Beta Rev4T, Honda XL700V Transalp, BMW F800 GS, Kawasaki Super Sherpa
Now:
Montesa 4RT, Triumph Tiger 800, Beta Alp, Montesa 315

I was going to recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 aswell, lovely and easy to use with excellent screen resolution as good as the Ipad any day at half the price.

Dog ate my Google Nexus 7 :pinch:

Wife replaced it with an IPad mini, wish I still had my Nexus. Better screen, faster and not limited to Apple apps only

I ahve not got to a Tab3 yet, after Xmas probably but have had 2 Tab 2s. Nice kit, robust build and good form factor. Screens are nice and if you want a bigger screen than 7" there is a big bioy version too.

Here had them as refurbs a fortnight ago at 90 quid. Had a Promo code this week, PCD66 for another 10% off, although Black Friday is on us and you may find other bargains elsewhere!! ;)

Tesco Hudl2

Even the professional reviewers rate it as good as, if not better than the Galaxy.

I bought my daughter one and was blown away by the quality of it!!!
