I was looking at the new WK trail 400 bike yesterday at the NEC bike show. It looked quite good. any one know anything about it ?
I picked up a leaflet with the details on but cant find anything else out about it.

I've seen the WK450 and there is a big thread on here for it. Didn't know there was a 400 too!

I had a good look at it and a lot of the Chinese bikes at the show yesterday. What I saw was the same old problem...nice design and good looks but really poor quality materials and metal.
For the price they are fine but I don't think they compare to a good 2nd jap bike.

WK BIKES has added a 400cc air-cooled single-cylinder adventure model to its Chinese-made range for 2015.
The Trail 400 makes a claimed 27hp and 24lbft, and weighs 151kg dry.
It’s got spoked wheels and up-side forks and comes with optional aluminium panniers.
No price has been announced yet but it’s likely to be under £3,500.
It’s on display at this week’s Motorcycle Live show, running until Sunday at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.

Makes me wonder why, here, in manufacturing, we spend so much time and money analysing materials via laboratory testing, X Ray etc. :whistle:
