Good for you, looks great ,some time and effort gone into that! (thumbs)

yeah, nice. Not sure on the bars though? Did you have to do much to the carbs for it to run with pods? And,fr sprocket cover..where from? Fancy that on my Tiger:-)

The bars were and are a central part to my vision of what I wanted the bike to be.
I'm certainly in a minority of those who like them though....LOL.

I'm glad you like the sprocket cover. It's a one off.threepot wrote:yeah, nice. Not sure on the bars though? Did you have to do much to the carbs for it to run with pods? And,fr sprocket cover..where from? Fancy that on my Tiger:-)
Actually it is the original item machined out to be minamilist and different.
Bars:- yeah, you and many others.
Pod filters:- We're still not sorted on the carburation to be honest. It's a bit flat/hesitant at around 3000 rpm. We'll sort it though.
If you want your sprocket cover done call Chris at CT Motorcycle Services. 07714 266627. He's in Maidstone but does a lot of stuff by Post. His main thing is paintwork. Good bloke, good work. He goes by Tunneruk on UKGSER and other places.

Contacted a seller on eBay recently who had fitted pods to a t3 Daytona 900. Only had to raise needles 1 notch, and reckoned bike ran OK.

Worth searching www.triumphrat.com re.pods. I'm thinking bigger pilot jets? Might clear it up to/over 3k rpm? Try idle mix screws out a bit more?

Contrary to what seems logical when I fitted a more freeflow exhaust & an oval conical filter to my SP370 in lieu of the air box I had to drop the needle a notch.
Now sweet all the way through to 8,000 with no flatness or hesitation anywhere.
P.S. That's on a slide carb.
