I had a nallo 2gt a few years ago I used it for a couple of years and never really got on with it. I found it to be noisy and flappy in winds. I went back to Vaude tents and have never looked back. Frankly I dont think Hilleberg are worth the money. We have 4 vaude tents and I feel they are far better value. One of them is 10+ years old and still going strong, it was/is such a good tent we bought a spare but the original one refuses to fail

You can't beat Hilleberg tents IMO. I have two, the small, Atko and the self supporting Staika.

I stayed at the infamous Scottish rally a couple of years ago when there was a lot of tents in the bin in the morning, my Staika was faultless, not even a slightly bent pole.

All Hilleberg tents are designed to go up as one, this means in bad weather the inner tent stays dry. You can also remove the inner tent and use the outer as a similar shelter.

They're not cheap but they are worth the money. You won't regret your purchase.

Tents being blown away in storms or collapsing in heavy downpoors are usually due to shoddy pitching by the user.
If it's got guy ropes these are in many designs for storm rigging so get them anchored in the ground properly so the tent stands a chance in extreme conditions.
Longevity is usually reduced by packing away damp & will destroy expensive & cheap tents.
There's plenty of great tents around for all occasions @ >300quid.

As Picos say a colapsing tent is usually down to bad pitching. In 45 years of camping in all seasons I have never had a tent collapse , and the tents I have used were never in hilleberg money terms.

I dont care if the tent collapse if iam in it cause i would have had enough of the insulating dampness repellent liquid call beer, have you seen the size of some of the tents you see at rally, i just one big enough so people dont know who is keeping everyone awake with their snoring.
