XT660Z Tank Bag - Wanted and Recommendations please...

Post by James1979 »

I' looking for a tank bag that will fit my Tenere. Think it has to be semi-specific because of the stupid shape of the tank?!

It needs to be fairly sturdy and a decent size as I want to use it for my DSLR camera when I'm travelling so I dont have to keep getting off to get camera out of top box.

Looking for any recommendations, as well as if anyone might have something suitable they want to sell

Just looking at the moment. Seen some about £150' which is far too much at the moment.

Sub £100 would be best

Hein Gericke Tuareg Adventure - £49. Excellent fit on the Tenere, large with handy side compartments, built-in sat nav holder, zips lock shut so no flaying about.

Slightly more than your £100 budget but one of (if not) the best tank bag out there. Totally waterproof and holds a full size DSLR. Uses genuine Rokstraps (fitted) and YKK's toughest zips.

I used to use a Kriega US5 or US10 with the Kriega tank adapter on myTenere.

Really well made and not expensive

Thanks all. Plenty of food for thought! The Zen one is probably the better size for what I want to do with it, but I like the shape of HG's

Appreciate your feedback and opinions :) james
