I seem to have lost all the 'routable maps' on my Garmin Oregon 450 hmy: . It will still plot a direct gps course and do everything else but I can't plot a 'driveable' route anymore due to the following error
'maps don't have routable roads in this area'
I don't know if my City Navigator Europe maps were loaded into the Garmin memory and it's somehow lost them?
OR
if they were on a micro sim card which has got lost? (the sim holder on the Garmin is empty. I was messing around with it at the roadside in the pi55ing rain in Le mans a few weeks ago so the sim may have got lost but I really don't know).
Can anyone shed any light on the error? I've definitely got it set to 'automotive' so I know it's a map reading error rather than a settings error.
Thanks

If you download basecamp, then connect your garmin it will read what maps you have installed on your unit. It sounds like your micro sim might have gone walk about.
Finally back on a GS

Thanks. I'll download Basecamp this evening and then see what happens.
