How many own just a bike and no car?

Taking my car test on Friday :woohoo: (Bit of a challenge at 63!)) Love my bike too much to have bothered before. My wife is now tired of driving so I have to take over the mantle. Have ridden my bike in all weathers and have never envied car drivers. Good kit helps. Know when to leave it at home. Ice is scarey!

You must have some kit recommendations after riding that number of years all weathers (thumbs)

I did run 2 cars at one time but was to expensive!. Now wife runs a car, I have fazer8 best thing we ever did!! no more stuck in traffic for me, also saving on 2nd car running costs , Just remember to buy the best you can afford winter riding gear!! enjoy ....

I thought about going to work on the bike yesterday (18 miles) but at 5am it was only 4 degrees so decided "feck that".
The bike is there as a back up incase the van plays up but otherwise I'll remain as Mr Softy .

No car for three years now, but the wife has one which I do occasionally drive.

I didn't pass my car test until 2008 at the grand old age of 39, but eventually caved in as I kept being offered a company car and liked the new shape Mondeo. The old VFR750 winter hack was duly sold and replaced by a shiny new Titanium X with all the toys, so my biking nowadays is purely for pleasure
