Sad news Al, great actor.
"The trails of the world be countless, and most of the trails be tried.
You tread on the heels of many, till you come where the ways divide.
And one lies safe in the sunlight, and the other is dreary and wan, Yet you look aslant at the Lone Trail, and the Lone Trail lures you on....
....Bid good-bye to sweetheart, bid goodbye to friend, The Lone Trail, the Lone Trail, follow to the end.
Tarry not, and fear not, chosen of the true;
Lover of the Lone Trail, The Lone Trail waits for you"

Sad. My dad looked just like him...well I thought so as a kid after watching him drive his cool car in the Rockford Files. RIP

Great in the Rockford files, but am I the only one to remember Maverick?

I don't see whats sad about it.... He was 86 !.... I only find it sad when young people die.
If I get to 86 i'll be more than happy I've had my moneys worth.
Don't see him as a hero either, just an actor.
