Hi all, I'm very interested in organizing a trip with my friends to go touring across Europe for next summer.
Since we all are quite busy in our work, I'm wondering how many weeks we should take off for that. Would 2 or 3 weeks be enough? Hope so since it will be more difficult to get such a long time off for everybody.

And I see that the B&B way is good. I would like to plan most of the trip but to have a bit of freedom with B&Bs would be great.

after my small trip (hehe) me and the wife took ten days riding in total, 4 days down to riva via motorways and main roads and 6 days back on back roads via wittenberg (well worth a visit!) i have a disability so have to stop regularly to stretch my legs. but yeah that gives you a sort of time scale of things. germany is a big country with a lot to see, plan extra days there!
we camped a bit and did a few hotels here and there.

Thanks Scubabiker!
Already discussed the duration with my friends and we originally thought 2-3 weeks max. This will be our 5-yearly trip :cheer: and so we want to enjoy it.
Riding a lot yeah but also enjoying the scenery and the local habits (german beer) (thumbs)
Thanks again!
