Passport sized document holder...Where from..?

Post by flamair »

Hi All

I'm looking for a document holder for keeping my passport/bike docs etc in for touring abroad. I have a fairly large one, but am after one that is just big enough for my passport yet still has a compartment or two for other stuff, so it will fit in my jacket inner pocket.

I've seen a few but mostly at £20+..

What do peeps use for their tours? I've got a new jacket for this year's touring and it hasn't quite got the right pocket set up for me! Bloody better vented though!!

Any thought folks?

I normally use a couple of see-through plastic pencil cases at less than £1.

One for passport, V5C, driving licence; the other for spare credit cards, spare cash, spare keys, etc.

I bought a Kriega Stash based on this thread (Will be used for more than just on the bike) and then noticed the Kriega tool roll as well and got one, nice bit of kit, both of them, and come with 10 year guarantee which is handy.

Now, to start to get the toolkit assembled for my bike with the appropriate tools.

Just for info, these are the ones I ordered, at what I thought was a decent price. Both of mine came from Daytona even though the links show different sellers.

I use the Ortlieb A5 waterproof/dust proof map case.
Had it for years, no rips, tears and Squaddie proof!
Remove the websters string and stash it wherever you like.

Plastic Bags.
Flat, simple & waterproof.
Don't think I could live with that buckle of the stash.
