If you got crash bars, then picking up the bike is less of a pain, as you don't care about damaged. I suppose Mike could do lessons in the middle of the campsite on how to pick up a bike when it has gone down.

No lessons form me I'm afraid. My Tenere has never been over since I've owned it.

And anyway Si..from what I've read I seem to remember you are more qualified to demonstrate this than me :blink:

There is a little known ford near the camp site..if it's OK we can see what's it like on the day.
