moving to Surrey! what's around?

Post by Avengerpenguin »

Me and the family are moving to Surrey in August, wraysbury to be exact near staines/egham.

Just wondered what's in the local vicinity to explore, don't know anywhere around here so hoping to find some interesting rides for the tenere!

Anyone else local to the area?

Not a lot in stains :) but I live over near wycombe.
Ace cafe is not far away. Plenty of trails over in Berkshire/Wiltshire. Box hill is a short ride round the m25.

Mike101, Bit far for the trip to work!!! Although prob not too far for a day trip, I need to get down to Salisbury.

Redbikejohn, Ace Cafe happens to be literally just up the road from my work so intend to pop in there on the way home here and there, I may have to take a trip to box hill sometime.

Being as your relatively close, I may have to try and convince you to decat my exhaust for me!!!!

The forum name comes from a nickname I was given a long time ago when I was 17 and more of a boy racer than a motorcyclist, it stuck with me until I moved away from Taunton, but managed to stay with me on the forums, always seems like a good idea at the time, until you have to introduce yourself in real life!!

It originally comes from a cartoon from ages ago, although never that popular I think

No problem - I also work near the Ace - just behind the stadium, well between the stadium and TESCO.

I take it you mean IKEA? I work in the large M&S warehouse on great central way (Hannah close). Big grey building with ND on the side cost its run by Norbert Dentresangle or "norbert dangerous angle" as we call them. I work for a contractor on site doing facilities maintenance.
