Back onto Wainey Island
Stopped at Devils Bridge for a cuppa
How much more better looking are these bikes when they look like they've been used for their intended purpose?

It could well be.
There's more photos, but I've spared everyone all of them. I'm quite impressed with the quality, to say they're off my phone...
Cheers for organising this, nice to meet you all, I'll become more sociable as more meetings are attended and the 'stranger danger' is overcome...

Don't be exaggerating. I made it 20 meters. It was on the way back I only made 5 metersbeddowsm wrote:
Think RobertG made it 5 meters into the crossing before burying the enterprise. Rest of the crossing went without a hitch for all.

'Twas nice to meet you too, I also think I made the right decision in coming. I can't take credit for the impressive roll, it wasn't me that binned it, it was a Tenere rider...beddowsm wrote:
Nice to meet you Harper, I think you made the right decision in coming. Good photos so far. And it was an impressive roll when you binned it on the way back from the island.
Till next year……
'til next year...

Surely this is not the same Tea007 who did the Strata Florida with us in March on his 990 without so much as a slip, let alone an off when I managed to drown my trusty DRZ on an easy crossing ?beddowsm wrote:I really wasn’t feeling too good and was grateful when Tea had his first off and got a puncture (sorry Tea, but I really was grateful for the 30 min break)........It was a case of ride 50 meters, pick Tea up, ride 50 meters, pick Tea up………that’s how I remember it!...and Tea went swimming (getting an image of Tea007 yet?).
