I dont know if its the same kettle but I bought the Trangia Kettle seperatley and it holds enough to fill two thermos mugs and still fits inside the Trangia.

kit without will work out £1 more if you buy the kettle after as they are doing the Single with Kettle for 58.50

with the gas burner you have to be careful on the single set as it boils real quick but makes the handle F**king hot How do i know

I Stowe mine in this with My knife fork and spoon and it doubles as a washing up bowl
or a bigger pan if needed army number 2 stove pan set

I understand that the kit is exactly the same (in size / number of bowls etc.) the difference is just a kettle ?? (I know you can get ultraligt/aluminium/non stick etc.)

Non stick without kettle is for £49.99
Non stick with kettle is for £54.99

Looking good....

The 27 is smaller than the 25...apart from that there isn't much differance.

I've had a set since 98 and used it constantly. Its never needed any maintenace. Last year I got the mini and its also ace. I've never been in much of a hurry to boil water so I've stuck with the meths burner.

One tiny grumble: the non stick is super thin and stratches off really easily. Also if you are heading abroad its worth learn the word for meths before you go...
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Wouldn't bother with the non-stick version, as Bren says, it's not a particularly thick layer.

To prevent the kettle handle from getting hot - turn down the flame ;)

Used Trangia's for years and years, simple, nothing much to go wrong, disagree about the non stick, works fine if you're careful with it (use non stick implements on it)and makes cooking/frying much easier.

The only drawback if you're impatient is that it does take a little while to boil up and takes a while to get the knack of heat control, but never bothered me.

Don't bother with the kettle the pan will boil 1ltr of water just as quick
+1 get the gas burner, its very economical on gas because its so fast, the burner is only on for a few minutes

Is this the same set which you store your Trangia in? Just wondering as there is a huge difference in price.
