TK MAXX they always have a massive range that you can touch and feel before buying. I recently bought a Swiss Gear rucksack from there

Whoops, just realised mine is the 25Q plate wrote:I bought an R35 recently, great rucksack but I couldn't get on with the fastening zip at the front, bit of a faff with gloves on & I couldn't see what I was doing with the helmet on. Swapped it for an R25 which I find much easier to use as the fastenings snap together.

I've got a Kriega R20 and it's surprisingly comfortable to wear all day and the straps are so good that you don't notice the weight even if it's got heavy stuff shoved in there.
I can also fit a hydration pack in there which is rather nice when I'm out on my KTM and need more capacity than I get in my Camelbak.

Re: Recommend me a Rucksack
I personally would never wear a rucksack on a bike.
Many years ago a friend fell off of his CX500 on the way to work. In his backpack were his work clothes and a small sandwich box..nothing big or heavy.
Anyway he fell off for some reason and landed on his back...the sandwich box dug into his spine. He has been in a wheelchair for over 25 years since.
I prefer a good tank bag or a rucksack tied to the rear seat over wearing anything.

Re: Recommend me a Rucksack
I bought this klim hydration/backpack.
I won't be carrying anything solid in it, T-shirts, socks, joggers, undies Money, phone and docs.
I like the idea it comes with me when I get off the bike, rather than a tank bag.
I'll have a back protector in my jacket, so I was thinking this back pack would offer even more protection to my back.

I dont have a problem riding with a rucksack. I use a Karrimor one, if anything, I think they provide more protection from all the padding. As long as no sharp, hard objects in it.
Some of the weight is also transferred down to the footpegs.
