Try Y Giler Arms which is on the A5 just south of Betws-Y-Coed, it's a pub with rooms and a campsite and renown for being "biker friendly." The ones with the real views on the Llanberis Pass are normally lacking in facilities (e.g. one bog and sink between up to 100 campers) but there are a couple opposite the Vanyol Arms.

Eric's is basic but well placed and lighter nights mean more people climbing for longer that you can watch - not far from town and amenities plus some off bike activities in the area - Porthmadog (Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Gelert!), Portmerrion (The Prisoner), the steam railways and some great roads or walking
The campsite at Llyn Gwynant is a good site just at the foot of Snowdon / Pen-y-pass not near any amenities though
Llanberis sites are basic

This place is really nice and about a 10 minute walk out of Beddgelert if you fancy a few slurps on the night (thumbs)

Make sure you have a decent tent that's well pegged down if useing Llyn
Gwynant site as it has a reputation for eating tents if the wind gets up a bit.
I've never seen so many tents in a skip after the XRV national meet 2011 think it was 11.
But I have to say both Paul's and mine were still standing lol.

Have used two good campsites in Nant Perris just opposite the Vaynol Arms pub plus a lovely ride down the pass to get there

I used to stop at the campsite heading along the A5 between Capel Curig and Ogwen Cottage but it's a bit remote if you want to go for a meal and a few drinks. Well situated if you like messing about in the mountains and there are plenty of good roads around there to go for a play on.
