How do you find the msx? Thinking of getting one as a second bike.
Quite easily, walked into the shop and there it was.. :P

Actually I love it, It's a great littlun.
I'm a big guy, and have no probs at all
I had to change down the front sprocket by one tooth, but that's normal
I also modded the seat to make it more comfy.
Oh and it does well over 100mpg. Close to 130mpg on my last tank (UK gallons)
Cant wait to do a full tour on it in a couple of months.

FYI my other bike is a XVS950, totally different animal

A while back ... in the mid 70s! ... a mate of mine went touring Ireland from Glasgow two-up on a 125cc. He had a fantastic time and rode the bike for years on his return. As if being English is Glasgow wasn't adventure enough :-)
There is something about life and dress rehearsal that I need to remember ...

I just thought I would add my Honda CRF230 F to the Mix--now this does not have any real road speed but, apart from trail riding, it has done a couple of trail trips with all camping gear carried--and is about to do another up through Albania, Bosnia, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia, and back to Italy. Getting it down to Venice is courtesy of a van--but the trip, starting in Northern Greece, will be trail work wherever possible. Getting gear to stay on when crashing around on a trail compounds the issue--but a small bike will do it (and I can pick it up!) What you don't see is the Clarke 3 US gal tank giving it a 160 mile range, the strengthened rear fender support and pannier frames (to stop soft bags pushing on the plastics, and the rear rack (off some old Honda but modified). By the time I have the Ortleib pannier bags on and a rear bag for the tent it will be quite loaded--but not too bad.

The Honda is about as simple as it gets and the build quality is excellent--it will get anywhere--but not quickly !
