Opportunity to Buy Seat Concepts seat...but hurry.

I was contacted recently by another forum member, Mike54, WRT my post about wanting a SeatConcepts seat for my KTM 690.

The proposal was that he, me and another forum member order the seat cover and foam sets we wanted as one order from SeatConcepts. This reduces the shipping costs per unit, and also earned us a magic 20% discount.

Sadly the third party has pulled out. Mike and I will still go ahead with the order, we won't get any discount, but we do save on the shipping. If anyone has been thinking about ordering direct form SeatConcepts and wants to join us to get a 20% discount on a seat cover and foam set and save on their shipping costs, then right now is a good time to shout. :woohoo:

SeatConcepts mainly sell foam and cover, not whole seats. One then needs to find a local person with the proper tools to remove the cover and foam from the existing seat and fit the new. Have a read at their website (link above) if you are not familiar with the product. FWIW, we are both ordering the carbon/gripper cover and foam, mine with orange stitching, not sure about Mike.

For logistical and mental health reasons we do not want to make this a giant group buy order, we are looking for one more person who is prepared to front their share of the cost, now...

It will be about £140 to the UK, depending on exchange rates, HMRC duty and handling charges, give or take say £20. Then a bit to get Parcelforce to bring it your doorstep if you are nowhere near Mike to collect - like me.

Nope, I used my local upholsterer who charged me £15
