There's another parcel for you!!??

Post by Maljones »

Have spent the winter picking up a few camping upgrades ready for this year. Have been trying to lighten the load! So treated myself to one or two bits such as a helinox chair, a neoair mat, and a mountain hardwear sleeping bag that packs really small. All of which we're absolute bargains!! Honest!
So anyone else getting an ear bashing for yet another parcel?!! And if so what have we been treating ourselves to??

Mal.

A new pair of locking Krauser K2 panniers, 42 litre, brand new off eBay for £135 for the pair....I already have frames. Krauser sell the frames for €90 plus €21 post, for the pair. Not bad at all.

Vango stainless steel cookware, 4 person, £21 off eBay.

Lots of bits and pieces too....

Having struggled to explain the new Explorer turning up, I think I'll have to make do with my old kit for at least a couple more years. Doesn't stop me looking at the websites when she's not around though.

Some rather nice anodized aluminium turned up today along with some roof tile samples but the bike bits were spotted first and commented on

I wish, unfortunately Parcelfarce pulled a blinder.

Rear sprocket carrier bearing seized on Friday and promptly ate itself, bike recovered 90 miles from where I'd commuted to back to my local bike shop.

Almost new sprocket carrier plus new bearing and seal ordered Saturday for 10am Tuesday delivery. Parcelfarce attempt to deliver at 7am to a business address *faceplant*, when they were actually there but couldn't be bothered to rouse the workshop when the office was empty *faceplant*. My 10am parts have been in a twilight zone all day, being told that they will be delivered to the post office close to my local bike shop in the seconds before they close so the earliest they can be picked up is tomorrow morning when they open at 9am. A full 24 earlier than if Parcelfarce were given the option to deliver again.

So I've got a commute in my car tomorrow. Thanks for that, c@#ts.
