I know, I need an enduro/supermoto as soon as possible. There's just nothing else that can be done about it! :side: Where's my nearest KTM dealer? Oo, Didcot. Not far. I feel a test ride enquiry coming on.CRAIGREVO wrote:I don't know how long TKCs would last on a bandit, or you on a bandit with TKCs for that matter.

I took my youngest boy for a ride through the Cotswolds. He's a nightmare pillion as he has no fear, and if I ride slow he falls asleep.

Re: Where did you ride 2day ?
Today I rode to the Ace Cafe for lunch, lovely bacon snadwich and cold diet pepsi:

After that it was a tortuous trip around the North circular, tortuous because of the road works there in the Wood Green area that seem to stretch on forever, not even enough space to squeeze through at paw-paddling pace. Nightmare.
Eventually came off at Ilford to find Manor Park on the Nature Rally list. Went to "Itchycoo Park" which is Little Ilford Park and found no signs to take pictures of so then went to Manor Park. Still couldn't find any signs so ended up asking a borough council chap who was painting the fence and he said Manor Park refers to the Cemetery and Crematorium so I went there and took the picture (see here for picture).
Then I went over the Dartford Crossing and down past Seven Oaks, Tunbridge Wells etc on my way to the Seven Sisters Country Park (see here for picture). Which was a complete nightmare to find. Simply because I thought I had gone in the wrong direction at one roundabout and then got lost for a while, when it turns out that I was on the right road in the first place!
V annoying. Once I found it I can honestly say its better to approach it from the A259 as the single track lane that passes as Litlington Road has recently been resurfaced with that horrible fine gravel rubbish they just spray everywhere for road users to squash in themselves. Wouldn't normally be a problem but the road in question is all blind corners and steep undulations and coupled with the gravel the going is very slow.
After this I headed back in the direction of The New Forest site on the rally but by the time I got to Fareham it was getting a bit late and the sun was dipping low. And, more importantly, I was getting a bit hungry. I decided to cut the trip short and head back home via Loomies. The New Forest can wait. I'd prefer to get some time to take pictures there anyway so making a day of it seems a good idea.
So that's where I rode today, was out of the house for a good eight hours, including time for lunch (and getting needlessly lost) and, with the exception of the North Circular, it was great fun.
