So took it out today... 1 hour on the road, 3 hours on the lanes..

Got to admit I really like it. I like thumpers anyway but its really light compared to the xtr.

The only thing that let it down was the road tyres. :laugh: every time I hit mud I was down.. :laugh:

Its ugly as sin but I have to admit its growing on me..

Now to adventure it.. I have heard that most xrs parts don't fit so looks like bodge time..

Need: bash plate, handgaurds, pannier racks and rear luggage rack so any ideas are welcome.. (thumbs)

Great little thumper. Love the lights as well (thumbs) Used to have a DR600 with BIG twin headlights like that back in the 90's !

Thanks Tramp. have looked through most of them, that's where I get that things like bash plates from a normal xr don't fit.
I think its the sort of bike to diy things on it...
